Incontournable dans la visite de la ville rose, la Basilique Saint Sernin vaut le détour. Je vous conseille une visite guidée notamment celle de l'office de tourisme (appeler "sur les chemins de Saint Jacques de Compostelle") qui rajoutera un regard éclairé sur l'histoire de ce monument. Visite de la crypte fortement conseillée également !

Architecture remarquable mais ... l'intérieur de cette basilique ne m'a pas inspiré et m' a paru un peu banal ... enfin surtout, je n'ai ressenti aucune spiritualité, aucune émotion particulière, finalement pressé d'écourter ma visite !..

The impressive basilica of Toulouse! and in an incomparable style. A small passage through the crypt to see the relics (have " in one day; gratuit" as the Heritage Days for example)

here is an exceptional place
it is central Toulouse! the basilica of st. sernin is a huge building which tourists come visit to discover the " city; rose"!
Just behind you can also discover one of the Toulouse museums!
I think that it is best to go to the Tourist Office can make the guided tour of this place! On saturdays and every Sunday morning you can walk among the second-hand dealers and merchants crumple!
