COURT HENRI IV
Henri IV gives his name to the court which allows to pass from square Charles de Gaulle to the place du Capitole and by which it absolutely must pass to access the Hall of Famous. The king brought additional money to the completion of the court, which runs apart from the municipal building. The Capitouls in exchange made him a statue, as a thank you. Many events took place over the centuries, from the execution of the Duke of Montmorency, who dared to intrigue against the royal power under Louis XIII, to various exhibitions and varied. Attention, access can be closed at the back of the Place du Capitole for security reasons.
