HÔPITAL LA GRAVE
Toulouse's most photographed building, the chapelle de la Grave, with its copper dome, is an icon of the Toulouse landscape.
Since the end of the 18th century, this site, well known to Toulousans, has been home to the city's largest hospital. This listed historic monument is partly active as a consulting center. Identifiable by the lantern dome of the Saint-Joseph chapel, desecrated in 2015 and fully restored, it is now an exhibition space open to the public. Tactile tables, films on life in the time of the great confinement, religious objects... The museographic tour retraces the history of Toulouse's hospitals. A fun visit for all.
