Located near the Jardin des Plantes, the Museum also includes the Maourine gardens (Borderouge district). Its collections bring together 2.5 million objects illustrating the interactions between man and his environment. The program includes permanent exhibitions on the Earth, the history of life and the exploration of biodiversity, as well as themed temporary exhibitions. From October to July 2024, the new exhibition Sex Appeal, the scandalous life of nature presents the intimate lives of plants and animals, without taboos. Poetry, fantasy, ingenuity, in all its crudity or violence.

L’exposition temporaire d’avril et plus peut-être est très bien, très vivante et colorée ( Sex-appeal sur la scandaleuse vie de la nature) , les présentations ressemblent à des tableaux, c’est très beau. Les panneaux explicatifs sont en français et en anglais.
L’ensemble du musée est très attractif. J’ai beaucoup aimé .. on s’y promène et on apprend plein de choses. Je recommande.
