Museum retracing the history of Toulouse through various collections of objects, paintings and reconstructions.

The Musée du Vieux-Toulouse opens its doors thanks to the Toulousains de Toulouse, a society dedicated to the defense of the region's heritage. Housed in a Renaissance townhouse, its collections of objects and paintings retrace the past of the pink city. Visitors move from one room to the next, from Antiquity to the 21st century. Amphoras, ceramics, posters, portraits of the Capitouls, 18th-century earthenware, regional pottery, traditional costumes... An excellent introduction to the city's popular traditions.

Nous avions prévu de visiter le musée la deuxième semaine de janvier mais les horaires et jours d'ouverture n'étaient pas mise à jour sur le site !donc c'était fermé alors qu'il était annoncé ouvert !Nous avons fait 50km pour rien.Dommage.
