MUSEOGRAPHICAL SPACE GEORGES BACCRABÈRE
The Museum area Georges Baccrabère is named after its founder, Father Braccrabère. It is located in the heart of the Catholic Institute of Toulouse and brings together the collections gathered before its inauguration in 1974. The heart of the museum is the Gallo-Roman bastion that was updated in the 1930 s, classified as a historic monument in the 1960 s. But it also includes sections dedicated to the Middle Ages with capitals and stelas, sculptures, presented to the visitor, a foundry section presenting the industrial heritage during the French revolution and a craft section of the past (th centuries). A showroom also allows for privileged artistic exchanges.
