Stroll along the banks of the Garonne river
Walk with a pleasant route to discover the municipal center of the Poster with a rich collection of graphic art
The Garonne River and its banks are a key part of Toulouse's identity, and offer some very pleasant walks... Your starting point is the Saint-Cyprien-République metro station. Walk up the Allées Charles-de-Fitte to the Musée des Abattoirs. To reach the banks of the Garonne, cross the Raymond VI garden to the Viguerie footbridge, then turn right to Pont-Neuf. Cross the bridge to the other bank, and turn left towards the Ecole des Beaux-Arts. The Notre-Dame-de-la-Daurade basilica and the Saint-Pierre lock punctuate your journey to the Espace EDF Bazacle, which marks the end of the tour.
