NIEL GARDEN
Toulouse city garden, linking the Empalot and Saint-Agne districts
The Niel Garden is a recent creation of the city of Toulouse. It occupies almost two hectares on the former parade ground of the Niel barracks. Located in an area undergoing major transformation, it links the Empalot and Saint-Agne districts. Its original layout was designed by Toulouse landscape architect Michèle Orliac and Barcelona architect Miquel Battle. The main green space in the area, it adjoins the district town hall and the Maison des Associations, enabling it to play its full role as a social space. With its play areas, including giant slides and zip lines, it's a delight for local children!
