Garden of the city of Toulouse, allowing to make the connection between the district of Empalot and the district of Saint-Agne

The Niel garden is a recent creation of the city of Toulouse. It occupies almost two hectares, on the former military square of the Niel barracks. Situated in a sector undergoing rapid transformation, it provides a link between the Empalot and Saint-Agne districts. Its original layout was designed by the Toulouse landscape architect Michèle Orliac and the Barcelona architect Miquel Battle. The main green space in the area, it is adjacent to the local town hall and the Maison des Associations, which allows it to play its role as a place for socialising. It offers playgrounds with giant slides and zip lines, for the children's enjoyment!

Je suis profondément déçu des choix effectués pour ce jardin qui avait un espace unique et un potentiel énorme. Le parc est a peine fini que les choix de matériaux font vieux. ok c'est Toulouse, il faut de la brique rouge, on a bien compris, mais au sol les herbe sont déjà en train de pousser entre les brique donnant un effet de vieillissement précoce. Je ne parle pas des bancs style décharge, j'ai cru que c'était des structure de travaux! Il y avait une caserne a mettre en avant avec une belle allée, redonner un peu de verdure a la ville. Au lieu de ca on un vision d'un sol sec et non accueillant, la vue du ciel est étouffante.

Petit parc très agréable, parfait pour se reposer et génial pour les enfants qui peuvent jouer aux jeux, notamment au grands toboggans, mis à leur disposition.
