BOTANIC GARDEN
The Jardin des Plantes (7 ha) is the city's former botanical garden, created in the 18th century on the site of a former convent. Today, it retains a wide variety of botanical species, with water features around a bucolic mound where you can meet ducks, peacocks, swans, geese... Young and old alike can enjoy a cool drink under the majestic trees, a snack at one of the refreshment stands or a ride on the merry-go-round. Statues scattered here and there accompany the walk. A very pleasant place, right next to the Museum.
