Machiya is a Japanese concept store in Toulouse. It was created to fill the lack of a place representing Japanese culture as a whole in the pink city and the Occitanie region. The store offers an exclusive selection of Japanese sakes from Osake.fr, with the aim of introducing the French public to this little-known alcoholic beverage. The Machiya team is certified by the Saké Sommelier Association, and can advise you on your choice of sake. In addition to sake, other Japanese products such as delicatessen items and arts and crafts will gradually be added to the boutique. Machiya also features an exhibition gallery showcasing works by Japanese and French artists. Finally, Machiya offers group and individual Japanese language courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced.
