François Trauque has set up store in the Place des Carmes, allowing you to discover new flavors: this is the realm of wine tasting. Thanks to an innovative process invented by a clever Italian, a bottle of wine can be kept for several weeks after opening. So it's always possible to taste before you buy here, especially as you'll be able to take advantage of the owner's best advice: ripe fruit, spices, citrus, heady aromas... there's something for every taste! All you have to do is get a magnetic card which you can credit with the amount you want: it will then be debited according to your tastings... It's an easy way to become an expert oenologist in no time! The cellar is rich in both grands crus and vins de terroirs, and you can sample Beaujolais nouveau by Charmet or Escausses, a Gevrey-Chambertin "En Champs" Denis Mortet 2008, as well as Bollinger rosé champagne or a magnificent Château Yquem 1998!
