Inaugurated in 1999, Tournefeuille's media center is part of a mission to democratize culture. A strong part of Tournefeuille's cultural life and the Toulouse agglomeration, it extends over 2,000 m 2. It consists of an audio library with 7,000 Cds, a library and a multimedia culture space, with free access computer equipment. The fund consists of adult and youth books. Throughout the year, the media center organizes numerous animations, meetings, exhibitions or workshops around the book and writing, animated by writers. For example, every Wednesday afternoon and a few Saturday morning, storytellers come to meet the children. It is a living cultural place, in which everyone will find their interests.
