The baptismal name of this new identity alcohol has no clear local connotation. But it has the merit of making a lasting impression! Developed by mixologist Alexandre You, with the help of Jean-Benoît Serres, a liquor manufacturer for five generations in Villefranche-de-Lauragais, Point G is a premium traditional Toulouse gin. Composed of about ten ingredients, including locally produced violet and spirulina, this firewater required nine months of experimentation and blending to find the right formula. Of a beautiful golden colour - a little unusual for this type of spirit -, the G-spot is rather round and pleasant in the mouth. Alexandre You offers it in cocktails, particularly in his Gin Tonic Amélioré - GTA - in which it is associated with a sprig of thyme, an orange zest and crystallized violets in particular.
