This 17.7 km, 4.5 hr hike, with its 390 m vertical drop, is ideal for sports enthusiasts and offers a variety of landscapes. You'll hike along the hillsides between the Landes forest and the Garonne valley. You'll come across woods with dovecotes, meadows with Blondes d'Aquitaine cattle, cornfields and panoramic views of Casteljaloux and the Pyrenees on a clear day. You'll see ruined churches and two well-preserved ones: one with a wall steeple at Veyries, the other with a pointed steeple at Sainte-Gemme-Martaillac.
