LAC DU SALABERT
Not far from the Maison de la Noisette in Lacépède, there is a large lake that can be walked around following an educational trail.
This 25-hectare tree-lined lake looks so big when you look at it from the shore! It was originally created in 1992 to irrigate crops. In 1995, the site was oriented towards environmental awareness with the creation of the Maison de la Nature, an observatory on stilts and an apiary-school. Since 2015, the Heron Association has been managing an educational trail of a little less than 3 kilometers dedicated to the fauna and flora of the lake, on which a Tèrra Aventura course has been added. A nice playful walk to do.
