GERTRUDE SCHOEN MUSEUM
Museum exhibiting pieces of silverware, pastels, small and medium statuary and monumental sculptures...
Gertrude Schoen is a contemporary Franco-German artist, sculptor on metal. A student of Ossip Zadkine in the 1950s, she found this place in Laroque-Timbaut, which served as her residence and studio. She donated her work to the commune in 2001 and passed away in 2016. Exposed on a square, the Messenger, a statue of resin and metal of 2.40 m, looks at you and invites you to know more about its creator. The permanent exhibition reveals her creations: goldsmith's pieces, pastels, small and medium statuary and monumental sculptures...
