THE COLLEGIATE CHURCH OF SAINT-VINCENT AND THE REMBRANDT
Go there and contact
The building is known for housing a painting by Rembrandt in 1631, the "Christ on the Cross". A treasure to see absolutely.
In this 12th century collegiate church, beautifully restored, sits a Rembrandt: "Christ on the Cross". This work on wood painted in 1631 had left the Mas-d'Agenais in 2016 following a crack in the window that housed it. Exhibited in the cathedral of Saint-André in Bordeaux, it returned to its beautiful village in the Lot-et-Garonne in the spring of 2022. Take a tour with Chantal Beaucourt, Raconteuse de Pays, she will share with you the history of the village and its Rembrandt.
