The astronomical observatory of the Eaubonne is not located in Marmande but a few kilometers further east at the place Meyssan in Virazeil. It is possible to observe on time in the dome of this small observatory, provided that it is possible to contact by phone beforehand in order to confirm the date and above all the place of the appointment (the site leader obviously does not wish to indicate the place accurately). It should also be noted that the reception on the phone can be quite cold, and to say even very little cordial when it comes to the misfortune to specify that we come - possibly - from the Parisian region!
