NOTRE DAME CHURCH
Listed as a historic monument, this religious building features a superb rose window on the façade, as well as beautiful stained glass windows and paintings.
Renovated in the early 2020s, Notre-Dame church, with its cloister gallery and garden, is Marmande's heritage jewel. Built over 150 years from the 13th century onwards, it has undergone numerous transformations, notably after a fire in 1672. The bell tower's spire was replaced by today's 4-sided dome. Highlights include the huge rose window on the façade, the stained glass windows, the 17th-century wooden altarpiece and the organ. Listed as a Monument Historique in 1862, the church continues to impress. Petit Futé recommends a visit!
