ALBERT MARZELLES MUSEUM
Museum offering a rich annual program of exhibitions by renowned painters, sculptors, photographers and more.
Notary Albert Marzelles (1859-1938) bequeathed his townhouse to the commune, located in the heart of the town near Marmande town hall. Maître Marzelles was keen to prove his attachment to his native town, despite his career in Paris. The house was restored, converted into a museum and opened to the public in 1984. It offers a rich annual program of exhibitions by renowned painters, sculptors and photographers, as well as a collection of 19th-century paintings by Marmande artist Abel Boyé (1864-1933).
