The New Republic of the Pyrenees is the daily reference of the department with the Dépêche du Midi. Both titles merged, but the NR, as its followers call it, keeps its faithful because of its long history and excellent reputation. Its strong point is definitely its very complete coverage at the local level because the title has, indeed, a network of correspondents as important as effective. This allows readers to follow the news of the municipalities as closely as possible: economy, various facts, court, shops, associative life, culture… Sport is a good place and again, we welcome the coverage of events. The model makes it a very nice newspaper to read. The digital version is in the same line, it allows to follow the local information as closely as possible. The archives are online, which is rare, and an excellent service reserved for subscribers… you may be part of. The editor of editor Jean-Louis Toulouze is also searchable and a newsletter informs you of the main articles of the one. A beautiful evolution for a historical journal that remains, more than ever, indispensable.
