CHÂTEAU DE SAIGNES
Castle in Aynac inviting to dive into the life in the Middle Ages, has beautiful gardens accessible by the path of the ramparts
Visiting the Château de Saignes is a plunge into the life of the Middle Ages from the 13th to the 15th century and the beginning of the Renaissance. Florence and Paul, the current owners of the castle, fell in love with it in 2013 and launched into its renovation to open it to the public. Thus, we discover the living rooms of this lordly dwelling as if they were still occupied: banquet room, guard room, bedroom ... The stained glass windows are signed Léo Amery de Martel and the gardens accessible by the path of the ramparts are just as beautiful.
