ANDROS
It is in Biars-sur-Cère, far from the major infrastructures, that this giant of the agri-food industry is hiding. The success story of Andros was sketched in 1971, with an industrial jam, flanked by all the attributes of the homemade product: a traditional recipe, a handwritten label, a Vichy lid reminiscent of grandmother's tea towels... For three generations, the Lot company has maintained this precious know-how in fruit processing. Andros buys nearly 500 tons each year, grown in orchards all over the world and in major French fruit growing regions, according to strict specifications that respect nature. Through its slogan, "the strength of the fruit", Andros is committed to the quality of its products "from seed to spoon". Today, the company reigns supreme over many supermarket shelves: jams, compotes in all forms (jars, gourds, jars), juices and drinks (brewed tea, smoothies...). She also owns the Bonne Maman brand of jam.
