The Cahors Malbec Lounge is an official information and tasting area for Cahors wines, located in Cahors. It is located on the first floor of a 19th century building, close to the Cahors - Vallée du Lot Tourist Office. The lounge offers over 200 references of AOC Cahors wines, making it the appellation's showcase. A team of wine specialists is on hand to welcome and advise visitors. The lounge also offers tastings throughout the year, as well as special events such as blind tastings and afterworks. It is possible to privatize the space for meetings, seminars or private parties. A boutique is also available, offering glasses, corkscrews, aprons and other wine-related items. The Cahors Malbec Lounge does not sell wine, but the team can direct visitors to the appellation's winemakers or local wine merchants.
