This original foot race takes place at night. Teams of 6 runners compete in a relay marathon with set distances to be covered in the following order: 5 km, 10 km, 5 km, 10 km, 5 km and finally 7.195 km. The Ekiden de Cahors conveys team values and solidarity. All entry fees are in fact donated to research into Huntington's disease, a genetic, orphan and hereditary disease. Fluorescent vests on their backs and equipped with headlamps, they were more than 1,500 participants at the last edition.
