CAHORS TOWN HALL
Historic capital of Quercy, Cahors is the prefecture of Lot with more than 20,000 inhabitants. Major tourist attraction, on the road to Saint-Jacques de Compostelle, the southern city, rich in its site nestled in a meander of Lot between causse and hills and outstanding medieval architectural heritage but also draw its source from the antiquity, whose jewels are the Saint-Étienne cathedral or the famous pont Valentré. Without forgetting that this city of Art and History with outstanding gardens and mutiples facets also does not boast a South West-typical gastronomic heritage, all watered by the famous Malbec grape which characterizes the wine of Cahors of which it is also the capital. Note a very complete "Cahors Magazine" where you can find plenty of information on life, installations, cultural events etc. available on the town hall's website.
