Built by the end of the 40 000 th century, it now houses about 30 000 books, including 8 000 printed for the general fund, for the Quercy Fund, brochures, maps and plans, antique photographs, prints and collections of local newspapers. In a superb room, surrounded by books up to the 8-metre upper ceiling with wooden gallery and screw staircases and walnut shelves, rare works, only in consultation, are available for researchers who wish to study the th, th, th and th centuries.

Je déplore un gros problème de communication entre la médiathèque et la bibliothèque. Les affiches de l’expo Tolkien indique médiathèque alors que c’est à la bibliothèque. Les horaires de la bibliothèque sont très restreintes pr rapport à celle de la médiathèque. Du coup, 2h de route et une grosse déception. Il va falloir revoir les banderoles d’annonces .

Magnifique bibliothèque du 18eme siècle, ancien collège des Jésuites, toute en bois. Elle est riche d'environ 40000 documents. Classée monument historique. Elle est ouverte du mardi au vendredi midi, et gratuite. Wifi. Demandez des informations au personnel, agréable et polyglotte.
