LACOMTE'S MILL
Magnificent mill dating back to 1688 in perfect condition. Typical of quercy windmills, stone built with two floors and a mobile wooden roof to orient wings facing the wind. The Garrigues family has a rare room: the only two-pair mill on top - one for corn or barley, and the other for wheat - all of Quercy while others still exist (in Aquitaine and England) but with a single pair of wheels. This is to say the originality of this type of mill whose origins are cited in 1168 and which stopped grinding at the beginning of the First World War. Visit and demonstration all year round by appointment.
