I Cag Compagnie - the name is evocative for the inhabitants of the South of France - is the result of a traditional carpentry, cabinet-making and fitting out business - designs and manufactures dry litter toilets. Thanks to its experience in woodworking, the company, based in Catus, obtains raw poplar planks from local sawmills. An "extraordinary" material, she says, solid and naturally repellent for the insects that threaten her - twigs or goats in the lead. Consistent in its end-to-end environmental approach, I Cag Compagnie uses solvent-free water-based adhesives to build its small ecological huts, which can be installed in the house or in the garden. Outdoor dry toilets are available in a ready-to-assemble kit and are accompanied by a sawdust shovel, a coat rack and a paper rack that the company manufactures itself.
