Feel like the good life? Situated on the banks of the Lot, a stone's throw from Cahors, the family inn of the old Douelle known as Chez Malique is a must for both good food and good living. The setting is absolutely superb both inside and outside, the traditional Quercynoise cuisine is tasty and copious, and the atmosphere is good-natured. We particularly recommend the famous "pastis" for dessert, a pastry speciality of the Lot. It is preferable to book online: the bosses are sometimes overwhelmed by the ransom of fame.

C'est un restaurant familial depuis plusieurs générations, c'est sourire et gentillesse.
En fin de service le Chef a fait le tour des tables, il a pris le temps de parler avec nous.
Pour finir j'ajoute que l'été il y a du personnel et que le service est très fluide et pourtant toutes les tables de la très grande terrasse sont occupées.
Un restaurant à recommander.
