The Bourian Country shelters a unique archaeological site excavated since 1958 and renowned worldwide for having proved the coexistence of the Neanderthal and the Cro-Magnon man. This site corresponds to the occupations of Paleolithic hunter-gatherers. The visit leads to a walk to discover the prehistoric life of the last Neanderthals and the first Homo sapiens.
