AUBERGE DU VIEUX PORT
In the charming village of Gagnac, on the banks of the river Cère, the chef will prepare for you some of the little wonders of the region: pan-fried lamb sweetbreads with ceps, Quercy lamb, foie gras, perfect frozen with walnuts and strawberries, and the famous Quercynoise flambé (a Norwegian omelette flambé at the time)... Auberge du Vieux Port, which is also a hotel with 8 rooms with contemporary and refined decoration, is the ideal stopover for gourmets and gourmands. The products are fresh and seasonal and are coordinated by Alexandre who, in the kitchen, perpetuates the family tradition started with his grandfather, Raymond, then continued by his father, Jean-Pierre. A fine selection of wines from all over France and from the region (Cahors, Glanes) completes the picture. All to be enjoyed on the shaded terrace or in the dining room. Gentilesse and professionalism guaranteed, a delicious table. One of our favorites.
