LE MARCHÉ AUX TRUFFES DE LALBENQUE
Go there and contact
Every year from December to March, a weekly market on Tuesday morning is entirely dedicated to the black truffle of Quercy.
The truffle season calendar kicks off in early December with the "Ban de la truffe" and closes in March with the grand "truffe en bodega" evening. Lalbenque is the capital of truffles, also known as the Black Diamond or Tuber Mélanosporum. Every Tuesday: markets, sales and gastronomy with exceptional menus. December: Truffle Festival with tastings, truffle dog demonstrations and guided walks. Culinary workshops at 10 a.m. for children.
