Based in Luzech, the Boissor estate has been supporting people with disabilities - intellectual disabilities or mental illness - since 1970. The structure notably manages an ESAT - Establishment and Service d'Aide par le Travail - with the objective of promoting the social and professional integration of these groups, through about ten different activities, including horticulture. Boissor ESAT produces ornamental trees, fruit trees, hedge plants, climbing plants, flowering shrubs and ground cover plants above and below ground. The company also specializes in citrus fruits, and sells up to 4,000 plants of 48 different varieties to individuals and professionals each year.
