Museum retracing the human occupation of the Paleolithic site to the Gallo-Roman, housing collections of flints, ceramics
This museum is the product of archaeological excavations. The site, discovered at the end of the 19th century, provides a precise overview of prehistoric settlements. With its collections of flint, ceramics, arrowheads, coins and a miniature of the famous Trajan column, it tells the story of human occupation of the site from Paleolithic to Gallo-Roman times. The excavation site is not far from here: the oppidum is accessible via a path leading to the keep (GR36).
