Historical urban palace, hosting the museum of Uxellodunum which contains a collection from the excavations of the Dordogne lotoise
Built from 1280, the Raymondie palace was completed around 1330. Urban palace composed of 4 wings around a vast courtyard, dominated by a belfry, it has had various functions: town hall during the Revolution, it now houses the Uxellodunum museum, which contains a permanent collection from excavations carried out on the territory of the Lot Dordogne, from the Upper Paleolithic to the Gallo-Roman period. In particular, there are objects that bear witness to the last battle fought by Caesar in 51 BC, at Uxellodunum.
