Square with an eighteenth-century market hall that hosts the market every Wednesday and Saturday, in the historic center of Martel

Situated in the historic centre of the town, this square is remarkable for its 18th century market hall built on the former site of the Consuls' house. It is lined with old mansions. Its magnificent chestnut wood frame rests on imposing stone pillars. The market hall bears witness to Martel's commercial vocation and perpetuates the tradition by hosting the market every Wednesday and Saturday morning and every Wednesday evening during the summer free ball.
