Natural cavity of 33 meters in diameter and 75 meters deep, the Gouffre de Padirac is the first natural underground heritage site in France, it is considered as a major geological curiosity. The exploration begins with the descent of an Eiffel-inspired staircase totaling 207 steps out of the 543 that you will walk. After discovering the galleries that are only accessible on foot, a jetty allows you to take a seat in a boat, led by a guide-catcher, for an educational walk along the water. The show is grandiose!

La visite est à faire et est très bien organisée au vu du nombre de visiteurs. Mais du moment où l'on est accompagné du guide, la visite se fait au pas de course et pas forcément le temps de bien poser des questions. Un peu dommage.
