CHÂTEAU SAINT-DIDIER
The Rigal family has watched over the destiny of Château Saint-Didier Parnac for more than 300 years, since it was in 1640 that a certain Mr Rigal gave the first blow of the pickaxe in this estate in the heart of the Lot valley. The 65 hectares ideally situated give the wine a unique personality. It is in the magnificent vaulted cellar dating from 1755 that the wine is aged in new barrels. Château Saint Didier Parnac vinifies and matures a top-of-the-range cuvée, l'Apogée (80% malbec, 15% merlot and 5% tannat), aged for 12 months in oak barrels.
