Located away from Rocamadour, this restaurant plays the card of originality by offering a wood-fired cuisine of local meats, meaning: duck, Quercy lamb and trout from the Ouysse. The products are of course local and of good quality. It is the occasion to discover the duck breast, the lamb grills or the confit of duck gilded with embers. Avant d'arriver sur Rocamadour, une ancienne truffière dans les bois idéalement située (vaste parking). Nous arrivons en fin de service, mais une dame charmante nous installe sur la terrasse avec le sourire. Service un peu long en raison de l'affluence, normal. Assiettes généreuses, magrets excellents, petit bémol sur les accompagnements et sur la poire au chocolat en dessert... Les enfants jouent avec les chèvres, toute la famille prend du plaisir. Une vraie belle découverte loin des attrape-touristes un peu plus loin...

Passage of couple on July 11th, 2013 - 2 menus with 18,50€ with salad of duck breast (copious and very good) and duck rillettes (copious and excellent) then grilled duck (with the wood fire) divine! Made of cheese and included in the price of the menu a small goat of very tasty Rocamadour (yet I am not fan of goat) and to finish ice cream.
The setting is green, the restaurant/chalet is located in old truffle, there is a remote children's playground of the road. Meal on terrace accompanied by our bitch.
An excellent address that our highly recommended!
