In the heart of the village, the brasserie Envies de Terroir offers a gourmet break in a modern setting. By focusing only on quality and by privileging collaborations with local producers, the cuisine of this brasserie made in the South-West of France is surprisingly good on the plate. On the menu, only typical dishes: home-made duck foie gras, Quercy salad, home-made cassoulet gratin... All the desserts are home made. In the afternoon the establishment is also a bar where you can taste ice creams, waffles and pastries!

J'ai voulu faire découvrir ROCAMADOUR à mes nièces ce mois ci et malheureusement presque tout était fermé sauf ce restaurant qui nous a réservé un bel accueil. Certes la carte était moins étoffée qu'en pleine saison, mais la cuisine de grande qualité et les assiettes copieuses. Nous avons opté pour un confit délicieux suivi de desserts maison, tartes aux pommes ou myrtilles délicieuses. Les prix sont plus que corrects et le service assuré par la famille est pittoresque, mais chaleureux .

We visited this restaurant glacier, recommended by the sly little minx, consume ice cream or dessert accompanied by drinks. That disappointment with regard to the service: no glass of water nor towels what seems a minimum considering the price of the drinks. And the bouquet is the very unpleasant attitude of the owner who refused our holiday vouchers: " it is written on the door that we take them only for the restaurant! " On a not very friendly tone. Such an establishment is expected better!
