Flamboyant Gothic chapel with 15th century frescoes, nave, choir, miraculous bell and statue of the Black Virgin
This chapel is considered Rocamadour's sacred treasure. Rebuilt in the flamboyant Gothic style, its façade features 15th-century frescoes and a sculpted tympanum. The nave and choir, both rib-vaulted, are dominated by stone tribunes, while a miraculous bell, suspended from the ceiling, is reputed to ring on its own during miracles. Numerous ex-votos are on display, testifying to the gratitude of the faithful. The altar houses a 13th-century reliquary statue of the Black Madonna.
