Prehistoric cave discovered in 1920, with concretions and gours where stalactites are reflected, rock paintings

Just 100 metres from the Rocamadour panorama, access to the caves is easy, with a descent of just 15 steps. The visit begins with the discovery of magnificent concretions and gours where stalactites are reflected. You'll be moved by the works of Upper Paleolithic artists who, over 20,000 years ago, transformed the site into a sanctuary adorned with cave paintings of horses, deer, felines and six negative hands.

Ne mérite pas 4 étoiles : c'est vraiment une toute petite grotte avec quelques concrétions (préférez Padirac ou Lacave) et peintures rupestres peu visibles (préférez Lascaux) qui font l'objet de beaucoup de conjectures car cette grotte n'a jamais été fouillée par des archéologues, au moins les guides sont honnêtes là-dessus. 2 étoiles pour les guides sympathiques qui font ce qu'ils peuvent pour rendre le peu de contenu de cette grotte intéressant.
