WORKSHOP JEAN LURÇAT MUSEUM
Workshop-museum in the castle of Saint-Laurent-les-Tours, considered as a rare place, place of work and place of life of Jean Lurçat
On an extraordinary site, in the castle of Saint-Laurent-les-Tours, the workshop-museum pays homage to Jean Lurçat, considered to be the great renovator of modern tapestry. He bought the castle in 1945 where the artist left his mark on each piece. He is a complete artist since fresco, engraving, painting, ceramics, lithography and drawing hold no secrets for him. A rare place, a place of work and a place to live, which invites us into the intimacy of the artist. Not to be missed.
