This mill was complementary to the water mill of Lamothe in Césac
Rebuilt in 1813 from and in the same way as the one originally located in the place known as L'arbre del Canou, its owner and miller having decided to move it to its current location due to untimely and all too often repeated lightning strikes. It was complementary to the water mill of Lamothe in Césac. Located 7 km from Castelnau, it is mentioned in the 17th century, and its identical construction allows us to date it from this period. It belongs to the commune of Sainte-Alauzie. It can be visited today punctually, by appointment.
