LAINE MOHAIR A LA FERME
Patrick and Katja Ruamps, breeders of angoras goats for about years, have installed on their small farms a point of sale where the product of their livestock is exposed. There is a collection of cosy books: ., stoles, pleas, but also sweaters, socks, shawls… knitted in different colours. You can also acquire ball and hanks. Patrick and Katja will also explain to you, with the passion that animates them, the work of mowing - around March - the transformation of raw wool into virgin mohair and will let you visit the rearing of these non-ordinary goats. They can be found on the Montcuq market every Sunday morning and Thursday starting in July. A warm welcome, a high quality craft presented by enthusiasts, the Laboissière farm is worth a visit!
