MURS DU MONDE
Who has never felt this emotion, mixing exaltation with trouble, when discovering a city, a site, a beach, a grandiose monument, or at least a new one? Who has never wanted to engrave these images and feelings forever? This desire to take with you and to be able to touch again this first impression, this memorable emotion, inspired Christine Saysset to her core business. At the head of Murs du Monde, in Albi, the designer has specialized in the creation of "Heritage" objects. It shapes key rings, knife holders, paperweights, magnetic stones, from famous materials: Toulouse, Occitan or Flemish brick, basalt, pink gree, granite, concrete, but also wood or marble. Christine Saysset uses it in the surroundings, but also elsewhere, provided that the raw material, stone, has a strong emotional potential. The authenticity is reinforced by artisanal and local manufacturing, and marketing in prestigious places: shop of the Louvre Museum or archaeological crypt of the Notre-Dame square in Paris, tourist offices of Albi and Gaillac, delicatessens... Murs du Monde has also formed a partnership with the Forge de Laguiole to design sand knife handles for the bay of Mont-Saint-Michel!
