Just a stone's throw from local institution Brasserie du Pontié, Antoine's Chien Rouge has found its cruising speed; halfway between fast-food, brasserie, pub and café, it's a lively place where there's always something going on. A large birdcage, music, concerts and parties brighten up the city. Albi's youth flock here. On the food side, suggestions on the slate: a fine selection of club sandwiches, burgers and bowls. A cool bar in the centre of Albi. Great cocktails and a decent atmosphere - even on a Tuesday evening in January when we were there!
