Amapola is a creative, gourmet, neo-Californian canteen located a stone's throw from the famous Pont Vieux bridge. Maeva the chef is an artist in perpetual innovation. Chickpea water is used to make meringues, chocolate mousse is made with avocado, classics are revisited like chocolate beef bourguignon with tempura-style vegetables, or couscous infused in coriander juice with seasonal vegetables. Here, we share tasty plates, sip nugget wines and - to spoil nothing - the coffee is delicious.
