Stone vaulted ceilings, marble countertops, comfortable, designer wooden furniture, a blend of contemporary and authentic: this is the charming address where chef Bernard Gisquet returns. Having come from Cestayrols, where he worked for many years in the kitchen of Lou Cantoun, he has now embarked on a new bistronomic adventure in a place with a vibrant soul. Duck breast with plums, crumbled crab with star anise and pimiento reduction, sweetbreads with whiskey... Flavors and creativity are the order of the day, as are homemade bread and fine wines.

Nous y sommes allés déjeuner deux fois et avons pris le menu du jour. Le restaurant magnifiquement rénové était un ancien forgeron. Nous aimons voir les vieux murs de briques. Top note au chef et aux serveurs. La combinaison de faveurs était délicieuse et le service excellent. C'est l'un de nos restaurants préférés. Nous recommandons cette très bonne expérience.

Très bon repas. Succulent cochon, rôti comme il se doit, avec ses petits légumes au gout délicieux, m'aillant transportés dans des souvenirs chérubins, allant jusqu'à me rappeler la cuisine de ma tendre grand-mère. Le tout pour un prix très abordable, surtout le midi.
En bref, je vous invite à tenter cette aventure gustative, culinaire, spectaculaire et envoutante que vous vivrez à La Forge du Vieil Albi.

La deco est top la, la cuisine un régal, ça fait bien long temps que je n’avais pas manger un ris de veau aussi maîtrisé… bravo !
